Care instructions:
- Chrome-free natural leather
The ecological, vegetable-tanned leather that we use for darlings is a natural product and meets the highest ecological standards, it is harmless and free of heavy metals. No lacquers, plastics or similar surface seals are used. This is the only way to ensure that you receive a natural, low-pollutant product. The open-pored and extremely breathable leather is more sensitive to stains than conventional, industrially manufactured leather. Dyed, chemically untreated and above all uncoated natural leather can rub off when wet, depending on the color. You should pay attention to this before z. B. white socks are worn in the shoe or the shoes have gotten wet.
If your darlings get dirty or you want to freshen them up, wipe them off with a soft, slightly damp cloth. You can possibly use a gentle soapy solution (e.g. an ecological hand soap or a mild curd soap). Rub, not too hard, especially with two-tone models, from a dark to a light area so that no discoloration occurs. You can remove heavier soiling with a brush and gentle soapy water. Test in a less visible area each time before cleaning and check the result before treating the entire shoe. Favorites must not be washed in the washing machine!
You get the best care to keep your darlings supple and resilient with our high-quality and pollutant-free Darlings Royal Leather Balm.
It is often difficult to find out which ingredients are contained in commercially available leather care products because they are often not adequately labeled and contain many petroleum derivatives. For optimal care, Lieblinge's Royal Leather Balm apply a thin layer with the supplied sponge and massage in. It is better to repeat this several times than to apply the leather balm too thickly at once. This care is also recommended if you are out and about a lot and want to protect your shoes from moisture or if your darling has gotten wet.
- If your darlings got wet ...
It is best to stuff pets that have gotten wet with paper and let them dry gently. Do not place your favorites on or near a heater to dry. This dries out leather, it can become stiff and brittle and color changes could occur.
